Hey, you all :) It's spring, which is sort of nice, although I don't enjoy the waking of the bugs at all... Or all the dust in the air. But still not complaining.
Saara wanted a spring/summer hat thingy, and this is what I made. Also, she now has pink hair :D

She also wanted thin socks, and I found a fairly difficult pattern. They look a bit funky, because she pulled them over the jeggings, but you get the general idea anyway, I think.

And as a nice ending, this is a gingerbread tree Saara made. Doesn't look Christmassy at all, when you use these colours. I love it, and I wish I could eat it, but it's a price for a raffle...

The hat and socks are so pretty! I love the way the pattern on the socks is so fine it almost looks like lace. *is super impressed*

I really dig Saara's hair color. I wish my own hair wasn't in such a shitty shape - I'd loved to dye it bright red or pink.

The gingerbread tree looks out of this world gorgeous! Like, I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that it's actually something baked and eatable and not a sculpture of some sort. It also reminds a bit of White Tree of Gondor, which is like the best cherry on top ever. :)

*hugs & loves*

The socks were actually quite challenging for once, which is nice :)
Saara and four of her classmates have a business. They can earn a certain amount of money without the taxes. (ALV) They're selling their bakery goods at an event on Saturday, and they have a raffle, with the tree as the price.

The hair color fits the hat so well, it looks good. The pattern too. The socks? That pattern I even adore. Like the other said, it looks like lace.

Thanks :) The lacey feeling comes from thin yarn, thin needles, and the pattern itself. I really like it too, and I kind of want those socks for myself too now...
